About Sakana Baits

Sakana Baits is a family-owned, mom-and-pop business based in Tremonton, Utah. Every soft plastic bait is hand-poured with care and individually inspected before it ever reaches your tackle box.

We take pride in producing high-quality baits that anglers can trust, whether they are chasing bass, trout, panfish, or other freshwater species. Our commitment to craftsmanship, quality, and customer satisfaction is at the heart of everything we do, and we are proud to say every Sakana Bait is made right here in the USA.

The name Sakana comes from the Japanese word for fish, reflecting our passion for the sport and our commitment to creating baits that help anglers spend more time catching fish and making memories on the water.

Meet the Team

Keenan Haramoto

My passion for fishing began when I was a kid, spending time on the water with my dad. Those early memories sparked a lifelong love for the outdoors and the sport that continues to inspire me today.

As I grew older, I discovered another passion—tying flies. It became a creative outlet where I spent countless hours designing new patterns and paying close attention to every detail in an effort to imitate nature as closely as possible. That dedication to craftsmanship eventually led me to create Sakana Baits.

I started Sakana Baits with one simple goal: to make high-quality, affordable fishing baits for everyone. I believe every parent, grandparent, friend, or mentor should be able to introduce someone to fishing without worrying about the cost of quality tackle.

Whether you are chasing the fish of a lifetime or making memories at your favorite local pond, Sakana Baits is built for anglers of every age and skill level. Thank you for supporting a family-owned business founded on craftsmanship, passion, and a genuine love for fishing.
